On Thursday, January 21, 2010, The Healthy Start Coalition of Sarasota County is partnering with Sarasota Architectural Salvage to host “An Evening with Healthy Start”,
a fundraising event featuring live music by local band,
The Equines, food from local restaurants, beer and wine, and fabulous raffles, with all proceeds going directly toward Healthy Start services.

Each Patron Ticket includes Food, Entertainment Free Drinks all evening, A special (optional) "Patron Badge" to wear during the event, & a $10.00 off coupon for use at Sarasota Architectural Salvage
All January, Bring in a donation to Healthy Start and receive 10% off your purchase. Recommended donations include packages of diapers, breastfeeding supplies, gift cards to grocery and pharmacies (Walgreens, CVS, Walmart, etc.)

Who is Healthy Start? And why are we doing this?
We hope you can join us for our first event of the new year, An Evening with Healthy Start. Not only is this a great time to come in and browse the store, enjoy delicious food and refreshments, and revel in the joyous company of friends, but also - you get to support a fantastic organization that is doing amazing work in this community.The Healthy Start Coalition of Sarasota County, Inc. is a non-profit, 501 (c)(3) organization dedicated to improving the health and well-being of pregnant women, infants, and young children in our community. We coordinate a variety of specialized programs to serve high-risk groups and address specific risk factors that contribute to fetal death, prematurity, low birth weight, and infant death. Our program includes home visits, education, counseling, and referrals for at-risk pregnant women. We also educate the community about important topics in maternal and child health.
January is a wonderful time to set new goals for the year. If supporting the community is on your list, this event will be a great way to get started.
